Kanyashree Prakalpa is an initiative taken by the Government of West Bengal to improve life and status of the girls by helping economically backward families.Female students are encouraged to apply for Kanyashree Scheme. During 2017-18 seventeen students received scholarship under this Prakalpa till date. During 2016-17 eighteen students received scholarship under this Prakalpa. During 2015-16 nineteen students received scholarship under this Prakalpa.
Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship
Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme is a Govt of West Bengal funded scheme for poor but meritorious students. During 2017-18 six students received scholarship under this Scheme During 2016-17 two students received scholarship under this Scheme
Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students
The objective of this Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the SC/ST/OBC students studying at post matriculation or post secondary stages to enable them to complete their education. During 2017-18 forty four students received financial assistance under this Scheme. During 2016-17 thirty one students received financial assistance under this Scheme
West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund Scholarship
During 2017-18 twenty one students received financial assistance under this Scheme. During 2016-17 six students received financial assistance under this Scheme
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities
During 2017-18 nine students received financial assistance under this Scheme. During 2016-17 twenty students received financial assistance under this Scheme
PG INDIRA GANDHI SCHOLARSHIP FOR SINGLE GIRL CHILD
Target Group: Girl students who are admitted in the first year of PG courses in the UGC/AICTE Universities/Colleges and happen to be the only girl child in the family
