OBJECTIVE:
The course is designed to aim at imparting a basic level appreciation programme for the common person. After completing the course, the incumbent is able to the use the computer for serving basic purposes of his/her personnel/business need. This allows a common person to be a part of computer users list by making them digitally literate and enjoy in the world of Information Technology.
1. Understanding basic computer components: Hardware and Software
2. Creating, editing and formatting documents using a MS Word Processor
3. Creating, editing and formatting data using a MS Excel Processor
4. Creating, editing and formatting data using a MS Power Point Processor
5. Access the Internet and finding information of interest
6. Register for a web-based e-mail account and using it, Opening of e-mail
attachments
7. Understanding Financial Literacy
8. Digital Literacy to understand the concept of Online Banking
9. Understanding the available e-Governance Services
DURATION:
30 Hours( Theory: 11 hours + Practical : 19) (3 Months)
ELIGIBILITY:
No minimum qualification is required for applying and appearing for the examination in course on Basic Computer Literacy Course (BCLC)
