About the Department

The Department of English has been there since the setting up of Brahmananda Keshab Chandra College in 1956. Known for its great teachers who have always worked hard to create an ambience for teaching-learning, the department has always been known for its active participation in all events in the college. Also known for innovations and leads taken in all activities, academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular, the department has an active social media presence as well. With alumni placed well in various spheres of life, the department aims for an all-round and holistic development.
